MYDA (Millennium Yacht Design Award) is the international design competition for boats that showcases projects by professional and young designers.

The event, promoted and organized by IMM CarraraFiere within Seatec, is dedicated to design and engineering studies in the Marine Industry.

Development of exterior lines and interior layout of a sailing or motor boat with no limits in size.

The design should be the driver to propose new solutions, new uses, new lines with particular attention to the use of innovative and non-conventional materials and environmentally friendly propulsion systems.

Particular emphasis will be given to design and construction solutions to allow access and use to people with disabilities.

Reserved to completed but not yet built projects.

Development of exterior lines and – where possible – interior layout of a sailing or motor boat within the 10 meter (33’) size.

The design should be the driver for the best solutions to a serial production, with the use of innovative and non conventional materials with particular emphasis given to design and construction solutions to allow access and use to people with disabilities and environmentally friendly propulsion systems.

Completed or already built projects can be presented.
